Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When do you publish Katusa’s Resource Opportunities?
A: On or around the first Wednesday of every month.

Q: What are the Terms and Conditions I must accept before placing an order for a paid membership?
A: Our Terms and Conditions page is found here: https://katusaresearch.com/terms-conditions-use/

Q: Is there a free trial or refund?
A: Because of the nature and extensive costs to provide our services and picks, we are very strict on refunds and we do not offer free trials. Unfortunately, some people make a career out of taking advantage of lucrative research and picks, only to cancel and clog up expensive customer service channels to cancel and refund their subscription price. We’re not interested in working those kinds of people. We’re interested in working with serious investors who know the value of very high quality investment research. Again, it costs an extraordinary amount of money to produce this kind of research. If you’re not totally satisfied with your subscription to Katusa Resesarch and our extensive educational materials – or if investing on the same terms as the world’s best resource investors isn’t for you – simply let us know within the first 7 days and we’ll refund your membership fee, minus a $500 “tire kicker” fee. By employing a $500 tire kicker refund fee, our work gets a measure of protection and we attract high-quality members who are interested in long-term relationships. Please note, some promotional prices come with a NO refund policy.

Q: How many positions do you hold in your portfolio?
A: We aim to hold 6-12 high quality stocks at any given time. This is in contrast to many mutual funds and many investment newsletters, which can hold 50… 100.. even more than 200 stocks.

We don’t believe there are 50 or 100 “great” stocks to own at any given time. We believe in concentrating our portfolio in a relatively small group of stocks we can know well and closely monitor.

Q: How long do you hold your positions?
A: We aim to hold our positions anywhere from 12-36 months. However, we’re not opposed to taking a profit after just four months. And we’re not opposed to holding a winner for four years if it’s the right thing to do. But, most of our positions will be held from 12-36 months.

Q: Is the price of all subscription products on katusaresearch.com in US Dollars?
A: Yes, all prices are in USD.

Q: Can Marin give me personal investment advice on a particular stock?
A: No. Marin does not provide personal investment advice through his research and publications. The information published on this site or other media from Marin is for informational purposes only with no regard to your individual investment objectives, financial situation or means.

The materials is not to be seen as an offer to buy or sell any stocks or securities mentioned. We will not comment on a security without saying it to our entire readership. Doing so would not be fair and might be illegal. Asking us to comment on an individual security to you is a waste of your time.

Q: I submitted my email but can’t access the Members Area or create password?
A: Submitting your email to sign up for the free newsletter only gets you on the free contact list. You have to be a member of the Katusa Club or a Paid Subscriber to the Katusa Resource Opportunities to access all private Member Area features.

Q: How do I change my password?
A: Login to the Members Area. Click on “My Account” in the top right corner. Click on the “Account Details” tab on the left toolbar. Enter your current and new password. Click on “Save Changes”

A: On the top right hand corner of subscribers.katusaresearch.com, click “forgotten password” and follow the instructions sent to the provided email for your Katusa Research account to reset it.

Q: I am a Paid Subscriber, will my subscription be renewed automatically?
A: Yes, unless otherwise noted. We will send you several reminder emails prior to the renewal date.

Q: How can I determine when my subscription is due for renewal?
A: Account-status information is available by clicking on the “My Account” link located on the upper right side corner of the Members Area. You will see the renewal date under the “Subscriptions” tab and under the heading “Next Payment.”

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: To cancel, please email us at subscribers@katusaresearch.com or call Customer Service at 778-737-7381 to cancel your subscription. Please review the subscription policy at the bottom of this page.

Q: Does my subscription end the day I cancel?
A: If you cancel, your subscription will end on your upcoming renewal date even if you cancel before then. You have paid for a year of membership access, thus you will have access to all content until that date but will not be charged further. For example, if you subscribed on Aug 1/2019 and decide to cancel on June 15/2019 before your year is up… You will continue to have access to the Members Area until Aug 1/2020.

Q: How do I change or update my credit-card information for the next billing?
A: The only way to update your credit-card information is by either contacting us or by manually renewing your subscription a few days early. To renew your subscription a few days early and guarantee uninterrupted access to your subscription, click on the “My Account” link near the top right-hand side of the page. Next, click on “Subscription”, “Renew Now”, and enter your new credit card information.

Q: Do you take Amex?
A:  Yes – we are happy to take payment with your AMEX. If you run into any issues during checkout, please call us at 778-737-7381.

A: Credit card information is stored securely via our Payment Gateway and hosted through our website SSL certificate. Katusa Research does not have access to your credit card information.

A: Unfortunately we do not accept payment by check or any means other than credit card. For debit card payment, you must email us.

Q: Does Katusa Research use automatic billing?
A : Yes. The auto-billing ensures your membership does not lapse. Every 12 months, we will automatically bill your card for the publication to which you subscribe at the auto-renewal rate we offer. This auto-renew feature does not obligate you in any way, and you may opt out at any time by cancelling your membership so that it does not renew. Our customer service team is happy to assist.

Q: Are junior resource stocks risky?
A: Yes. With great rewards comes great risk. By buying and selling junior stocks, you can lose your entire investment. Never allocate more than you’re comfortable with into one particular investment.

Q: What is your subscription policy?
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
By requesting a subscription and by accepting the benefits of the subscription, you agree that as a condition of your subscription you authorize Katusa Research or its agent to charge the applicable membership fee to the Payment Card on the anniversary date of purchase for each consecutive renewal date until your subscription is canceled. This continuing charge authorization shall be equivalent to individual signatures by the subscriber on subsequent Payment Card charges or “signature on file” transactions. You will not be provided with copies of charge slips evidencing the recurring charges of the applicable subscription fee.
Expiration of Payment Card or Other Refusal of Charges:  If the Payment Card is no longer valid, has expired, or for any reason will not accept charges for subsequent subscription fees, you have a period of 7 days from the date that your Payment Card was declined to update your credit card information under “My Account”.
Cancellation by You:  The initial subscription is valid for a subscription period starting on the date of purchase as detailed in the offer.
For example, if on June 18, 2015 you purchased a yearly subscription, your initial subscription fee entitles you to subscription benefits until June 18, 2016 and your Payment Card will be charged again on June 18, 2016 for the next year.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to “My Account” > “My Subscriptions” and clicking “Cancel.” Your subscription will not be renewed on the renewal date. But you will have continued access until the renewal date.

There are no refunds.
